Heather & AJ's Reception

Heather and AJ's long awaited reception went off last weekend in downtown Glendale. It was a fun shoot. I had a really good time. Lots of people drinking lots of alcohol always = better photos.

I also got to meet DJ extraordinaire Pinky Leib of Party Masters, who rocked the house with some killer jams. Dude really knows how to get the party started.

Jacob

I was on the west side last weekend visiting my old college friends Ben and Jill, when I decided to take a few snaps of their 9 month old son, Jacob, who is really learning to crawl. He's a pretty cool little dude who seemed entranced by the magical powers of my camera. His parents will now cringe when he tells them he's gonna be a photographer like Seth when he grows up. Err, sorry about that, guys. Anyway, it was an altogether new experience (photographing infants, that is), and I'm looking forward to doing more.

Clay Pigeon Shooting in the Desert

On Tuesday, in between wedding and commercial work, I got a chance to tag along with my good friend, Brian and a couple of his co-workers as they performed target practice on a couple hundred or so clay pigeons. Fun times.

Here's a handful of images from the day:
